Natural beauty, rich history, warm people, loads of wildlife and even the highest brewery in South Africa – welcome to ‘the place where the sun rises’ aka Mpumalanga.

This relatively small province in the north east of the country is so much more than being home to SA’s flagship game reserve Kruger National Park - with an amazing selection of adventures just waiting for you.

There are also some of the most inspirational vistas to take it, allowing you to really grasp the wonder of nature.

And if you don’t have much time to explore Mpumalanga to the full, then the Panorama route is just the fix you need. This go-to drive will ensure you capture and enjoy the likes of Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, God’s Window, Echo Caves and the Mac Mac Falls.

Hidden gems like the little town of Graskop are worth checking out as is the Genesis Route through the town of Barberton and the Makhonjwa Mountains that surround it.

As we head into spring, we can’t help but be excited by the idea of an Mpumalanga squad-deep adventure.
