It's that windy time of year again when Red Bull King of the Air take over Bloubergstrand in Cape Town as the world'd best kitesurfers battle it out for the champion title.

Traveller24 had a chat with two of its top contenders this year - two time winner Aaron Hadlow from the UK and our very own Josh Emanuel who recently won the Red Bull Megaloop Challenge in Netherlands - and see what they had to say about the venue change for this year.

The competition is set to take place on the windiest day between 27 January and 11 February, and the contenders expect this year to exceed expectations for the crowd and the riders.

Other riders to look out for are past champs Jesse Richman from the US and Kevin Langeree from the Netherlands, as well as Sam Light from the UK and Marc Jacobs from New Zealand who are both video entrants.

For more information on the event, you can head on over to theirĀ website.
