Traveller24 thought we'd ask a few South Africans if they think tourists should pay a 'water tax' in Cape Town during their holidays?

Some think it's unfair, others think it's not feasible, and some think South Africans should pay the tax themselves.

Currently dam levels stand at 38,5%, with usable water standing at 28,5% this week. Average daily water consumption has also come down to 585 million litres a day, inching closer to the 500 million litres a day target.
