The anti-plastic movement is making even more moves in the hotel industry, as Marriott International joins other hotels to eliminate the small plastic bottles that guests love to take home.

The hotel chain aims to replace their small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and bath gel from its hotels worldwide with larger bottles or wall-mounted dispensers, depending on the hotel.

Other companies in the travel industry that have cut down on their plastic include Air New Zealand, Qantas, MSC Cruises, Protea Hotels, American Airlines and Hilton, with Africa leading the charge in banning plastic bags.
