An American family have gone on a"spiritual pilgrimage" after learning their DNA hails from 32 nations.
Ike and Nathalee Anderson and their three children are trekking around the globe to visit everywhere they have roots.
The couple discovered their heritage via an ancestry website and were overwhelmed by the discovery.
The origins of their DNA can broadly be traced to Europe, East Asia, Sub Saharan Africa and Oceania.

They soon decided to go on the trip of a lifetime on a journey of discovery about where they came from. To fund the trip, the family sold their car and any belongings they could live without.
The trip is estimated to cost between EUR 70 000 and EUR 80 000 (R1 133 000 and R1 294 000 at EUR1/R16,19). The trip includes visiting the likes of Canada, the UK, France, India, Nigeria, Greece, Egypt and Australia.
