Cape Town - The Littlegig Festival is known for being an annual hub for creativity. It boasts a versatile showcase range of musicians, DJs, designers, artists, food fundis and winemakers and reels in an audience for each.

The Festival will be taking place over the 17th and 18th of February this year at Wiesenhof farm in the Simonsberg mountains in Stellenbosch and the festivities kick off at 10h00 the Saturday and come to a close the Sunday at midday (12h00).

Attendees will experience a saturated 24 hour bonanza basking and indulging in the works of 35 musicians, 18 DJs, 17 fashion designers, 10 bars, 6 gourmet chefs, 6 stages, 5 artists, 3 winemakers and 1 concept store. The weekend is set to be filled with breathtaking views, an endless supply of great food and drinks and even greater entertainment.

"I am inspired by people. The best thing about a festival should always be the people." -Georgia Black, founder.

Littlegig, as its namesake implies, aims to keep its experience small and intimate despite its grand and diverse repertoire that will be showcased, which is why the limited amount of tickets sell out almost immediately.

Another key trait to the inclusive festival is ensuring open-minded curiosity and creative expression, as founder and curator Georgia Black puts it, which is why the organisers focus on seeking out a diverse range of local creators rather than relying heavily on big name headliners as many festivals often do.

The lineup for all of the musical acts as well as the itinerary for the food and wine events are listed on their site along with any additional prices regarding certain events.

Littlegig is the first all-inclusive creative festival in the country and by the sound, look and taste of it, hopefully won’t be the last!
