Cape Town - If you've only just started work and you're already longing after your next break-away, we've feel you.

2016 was a tough year to get through, but things are already looking brighter in 2017.

Judging by the amount of holidays that can actually turn your weekends into long- and SUPER long weekends, 2017 should be the year to #FindYourEscape.

Take April for example, if you take leave for Thursday, 13 and Tuesday, 18 April, you'll get a total of six days off. If you take Wednesday, 26 April, Friday, 28 April and Tuesday, 2 May, you'll get a total of seven days off.

AND, if you combine those two long weekends and take off the days in-between, you can get a total of 19 days off for only 9 days' leave.

That's awesome.

You should also sign up for Traveller24's newsletter - for the latest holiday trends, planning and up-and-coming holiday destinations - if you do so before the end of January you stand a chance of winning a R5 000 travel voucher towards your next holiday.

If you take only a few days leave surrounding the public holidays coming up, you can end up with a whole week of holiday for only two days leave.
