Cape Town - The last few days the fans have been working overtime in the City of Gold.
Johannesburg saw a smoldering heatwave descend upon the province, with people queuing up on Twitter to lament the conditions they had to face in the city.
WEATHER UPDATE: Heatwave, severe thunderstorms continue in parts of SA
The heatwave has been going strong since Friday, but according to the SA Weather Service, it should start dissipating on Tuesday, followed by showers and thundershowers expected over eastern parts of North West, eastern Free State, Gauteng, KwaZulu Natal, Limpopo and Mpumalanga, as well as a drop in temperature.

The Tweeple had various opinions regarding the severity of the heat, though many saw the heatwave as a personal affront, praying for some biblical help.
