If you ever feel bad for forgetting your bag at an airport, at least you're not this poor woman.
Gulf News reports that a plane bound for Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia had to turn back to Saudi Arabia when a passenger realised that she forgot her baby in the airport terminal at King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah.

Besides a technical issue and a medical emergency, planes rarely turn around for anything else, and because of this the conversation between the pilot and the air traffic controller got super awkward - and was all captured on video.
"May God be with us. Can we come back?" starts the pilot in the exchange (in Arabic), explaining the situation. This incident is so rare, the traffic controller had to check with his coworkers on what to do, and even exclaimed in the video: "This is totally a new one for us!"

Luckily the flight - operated by Saudia - was allowed to return to the gate and the mother and child were reunited.
According to Gulf News, the flight took place over the weekend, but there's been no comment from Saudia on the incident.
At least this story had a happy ending!
