Low-cost carrier Mango will reportedly pull all flights to and from Lanseria International from March 2020, with its new schedule details yet to be finalised, says the airline.

This move is expected to affect its Cape Town, Durban and Zanzibar routes - with its Port Elizabeth route already cancelled since 15 January.

This comes as parent company South African Airways undergoes its Business Rescue process, including cutting a number of its domestic routes. SAA will continue to operate its Cape Town to Johannesburg flight, with the following domestic routes cancelled as of the end of February.

  • Durban - ends 29 February 2020
  • Port Elizabeth - ends 29 February 2020
  • East London - ends 29 February 2020

Traveller24 has contacted Mango for comment, with Mango spokesperson Sergio Santos-Van Vuuren saying, "The process is not yet finalised".
