Era of Slow Lounges
The establishment of the Slow xs Lounge is being carried out by FNB and Comair as they work together to create the exclusive space for their passengers to relax during layovers or to optimise it as a professional meeting space.
The Slow Lounges have gained a reputation nation wide for their facilities - making an airport layover just a little more palatable.
The official opening is set for 30 August 2017 - with the lounge able to accommodate 100 guests at a time.
The exclusive facilities of the Slow Lounge are extremely popular, with this being the first lounge designed by Givan Lotz, and aimed at meeting the needs of business travellers or those travelling for leisure with its state of the art facilities, says Comair.
The lounge will be available for use by credit card or cheque users of FNB, RMB, kulula and Comair limited VIP guests on their travels.
Although the lounge is set to be smaller than the other popular Slow Lounges located in Cape Town international airport or OR Tambo Airport - the lounge is set to stand apart from the rest with its specifically designed mechanisms and services.
There are also presently 'Slow in the City' locations on the corner of Rivonia and West Street in Sandton.
The launch of these facilities comes shortly after the revamp of the Slow lounge at OR Tambo International airport - a lounge that caters to 326 guests making it the largest one in the stable.
