Cape Town - Phallic sky drawing has landed a Navy pilot into trouble after residents reported that a giant penis drawn from contrails appeared in the sky over the north-central Washington town of Omak.
Spotted in Okanogan County, the image was reported by residents who took photos of it and complained on Twitter about how upsetting it was.
"The Navy holds its aircrew to the highest standards and we find this absolutely unacceptable, of zero training value and we are holding the crew accountable," officials from Naval Air Station Whidbey Island told local CBS affiliate KREM 2.

KREM reports that it was first alerted after a mother called the station to complain about the sight, saying that she didn't want to have to explain the display to her young children.
Vice Admiral Mike Shoemaker of the Naval Air Forces says that the incident "stands in stark contrast" to how crews are expected to behave.

"The American people rightfully expect that those who wear the Wings of Gold exhibit a level of maturity commensurate with the missions and aircraft with which they've been entrusted," he says.
"Naval aviation continually strives to foster an environment of dignity and respect. Sophomoric and immature antics of a sexual nature have no place in Naval aviation today."
While the pilot may be in hot water for the drawing, some residents found ways to make light of the situation.
