Cape Town - The pioneers of the aviation industry back in January 1914 could not have envisioned the could not have envisioned the transformational changes that have followed in the decades since.

Today according to IATA, on average every day more than 8 million people fly. In 2013, an estimated 3.1 billion people flew through the skies and based on 3.3 billion annual flyers it works out to be equivalent to a staggering 44% of the world population.

With over 3.3 billion annual airline passengers and over 2 000 airlines flying through the air, it’s fair to say that passengers now have a reasonable opinion on the airlines they use.

Kytra recently announced the world's Top 100 Airlines in 2015 during the World Airline Awards ceremony at Paris air show. Check out this www.flytodubai.co.uk infographic, in which they ranked the top 20 airlines, adding its number of destinations, countries, number of passenger and cargo airplanes, and number of airplanes on order.
