Today according to IATA, on average every day more than 8 million people fly. In 2013, an estimated 3.1 billion people flew through the skies and based on 3.3 billion annual flyers it works out to be equivalent to a staggering 44% of the world population.
With over 3.3 billion annual airline passengers and over 2 000 airlines flying through the air, it’s fair to say that passengers now have a reasonable opinion on the airlines they use.
