Cape Town - Airports Company South Africa has confirmed operations are "normal at this point with all of the carryover effects from 24 flights diverted on Monday cleared late last night".
"We do need to watch this space, but from an operational standpoint the airport is running normally," says Leigh Gunkel-Keuler, spokesperson for OR Tambo International Airport.
Currently there is no abnormal weather forecast for the Gauteng area, with Gunkel-Keuler stating should the situation change it will update passengers accordingly.
