Summer special

Gautrain will be offering travellers a special rate of R1 per bus trip taken each day. The special is valid from 8 December 2017 until 14 January 2018 and is wonderful news for travellers. R1 doesn’t go far but Gautrain is willing to take you all the way with that silver buck.

Cost: R1

Valid: Bus routes

Date: 8 December 2017 – 14 January 2018

This will allow commuters to travel more and make their rounds visiting family and friends during the holidays. It is also a chance to make new memories and explore the local area and what Jozi has to offer.

There's also a parking discount – railway users will be charged R441 for 10 days of parking and R100 per day thereafter, allowing you to get to the airport on time and not to fret about your car, but remember not to leave your vehicle behind! This is applicable to drivers who park at the Rosebank, Park, Rhodesfield, Midrand, Centurion, Pretoria and Hatfield stations.

SEE: Sandton Station forgotten:  Where are the owners and why have they abandoned these cars?

Travellers who park at Marlboro and Sandton will pay R441 for 10 days and R42 per day thereafter.

Now there is no reason not to explore the City of Gold.
