Cape Town - This stunning video showing 80-tonnes whales off the coastal town of Hermanus is giving us the winter season feels.
Known as the most popular whale watching destination in South Africa, the season usually kicks off in July. However, Hermanus has also become well known for the annual Whale festival set to take place between 28 and 30 September this year. It allows visitors to celebrate the migration of Southern Right whales and other marine wildlife with ocean-themed activities and exhibitions, emphasising education and environmentally responsible adventures and activities.

The footage filmed by Luke Maximo Bell shows what visitors can expect when visiting the coastal town, just about an hour and a half out of Cape Town.
Filmed while visiting during last year's festival, Bell says he used a drone to capture these majestic creatures as best as he possibly could.
