Top cities in India:


This cosmopolitan metropolis was once known as Bombay and is the largest city in India.

Jaipur earned the nickname courtesy of its distinctly coloured buildings which were originally painted this colour to imitate the red sandstone architecture of Maugham cities.

A different tale implies that in 1876, when the Prince of Wales visited India on a tour, Maharaja Ram Singh of Jaipur painted the entire city pink - as the colour pink was symbolic of hospitality.

The bustling modern city is one of the three corners of the golden triangle that includes Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Other features you'll find include a density of palaces, fairs and festivals that spring up around the city as well as the incredible Hawa Mahal.
