The day when robots replace humans might have finally arrived with Tokyo's latest initiative.
Gone are the days when you need a strong or hulking human body guard flanking you from all ends - Japan might have just found the digitised solution that could have the secret code to effectively stopping crime at major events.

Currently in trial in Tokyo, these robots are built to effectively be rolling digital security guards armed with one of the most dangerous and incriminating weapons of the 21st century - a camera.

The nifty robot is also kitted out with heat, sound and humidity sensitive senses giving it the tools to help detect problems within the area.
