Another day, another influencer goes to the extremes to get that perfect Instagram shot.

Vitaly Zdorovetsky, famous for his lewd Instagram handle @kingvitaly with 3.1 million followers, recently boasted on his feed that he was arrested in Egypt for climbing the Pyramids of Giza - which is illegal.

According to the caption on a photo from the pyramids, he was in jail for five days, claiming it "was by far the very worst" of all the times he's been to jail before.

"I saw horrible things and I don’t wish this upon anybody. Was it worth it? FUCK YEAH! I did it for a good cause and soon I’m going to share the whole video so the whole world can see."

The cause he was talking about is to spread awareness for the Australian fires, although he wore a shirt that also says "stop the war" which might have confused some.

He followed up the post with another video, showing his climb to the top, claiming 'no disrespect' to Egypt while climbing their most treasured historical site.

Maybe next time don't piss off one country just to help another.

And this isn't the first time this is has happened - in 2018 the Egyptian authorities launched an investigation into images said to show a naked couple who scaled the Great Pyramid that has sparked outrage in the conservative Muslim country.

Wherever you may go in the world, remember to always be mindful of the country's laws and be respectful.
