Naked, but not afraid.
More and more travellers are choosing destinations based on its approach to nudism, says CN Traveller. This means that super light travel could be a thing of the future, as there'll be no need to pack a swimsuit or even any outfits!
That's right, you're on 'nakkation' now.
Your itinerary on holiday could include a nude hike, a nude camping experience, a nude cruise or even a spot of nude canoeing! Either way, clothes will be shed as you'll be able to bare it all in a safe and trusted nudist environment.
Cruises, in particular, are becoming very popular with naturists as some ships are now offering 'clothing-optional voyages' - that is cruises catering particularly to couples who prefer to take to the high seas, sans clothing.
South Africa also has a few such destinations for travellers to choose from - from a naturist resort situated on a bushveld farm, about 50 km from Pretoria to Cape Town's Sandy Bay for nudists.

In a need to escape a world constantly driven by tech and consumerism, choosing nature in its very entirety appeals to people now more than ever. And the 'likes' are reflecting this online.

Although it could be argued that Instagram has gotten more and more naked over the years, there are now Instagrammers who gather massive followings for posting themselves nude (mostly back and bum shots) in nude-friendly destinations, resorts, cruises, etc. Sharing 'nakkation' tips, destinations and activities, they tap into an ever curious travel market that are, perhaps, still unsure where to start planning their own holiday striptease.
@Naturistgirl has over 83K followers and posts images of herself posing on nude-friendly hiking trails, beaches and hotels:
Would you hike in the nude? Sounds a bit dangerous and thorny. Skinny dipping on the other hand might just be the best of nature's delights...
