Dance forms an intricate part of our African heritage.

From the war cry of Zulu warriors to the beats of modern kwaito, the dance scene is incredibly rich in South Africa. But the Rieldans has stood the test of time, dating all the way back to our Khoi and San ancestors.

It lives on in the dusty vistas of the Northern Cape, Karoo and Cederberg's Elizabethfontein Primary School, one of the top troupes in the country. Over the years the Rieldans morphed into an award-winning movement kept alive by younger generations, while retaining its essence as a form of storytelling.
