Cape Town - While New York features on many-a bucket list, and so does Las Vegas, people sometimes forget that there's a whole lot more of North America to explore.
After discovering a number of US and Canada-based Instagrammers who share some of the lesser-known - especially outdoorsy - destinations, our feet have been itching to explore the continent.
Check out our favourite six:
Griffin Lamb
Wooden cabins, snow-capped mountains, lakes, forests and icy-looking oceans. Griffin's pics will make you want to pack a backpack, tie up your hiking boots and get lost in wonder.
Molly Steele
Wild child and free spirit, Molly's Instagram feed is just one spontaneous roadtrip to the middle of nowhere - which is sometimes a desert and sometimes a beach, sometimes the woods and sometimes a small town.
Kevin Russ
He recently did a spate of train hopping with Molly mentioned above, but after getting caught by police both were put on probation (which is ending shortly). He's been spending time documenting the intriguing street artist scene in Asheville, Oregon.
Taylor Tippett
A flight attendant who has captured thousands of hearts with her inspirational posts and openness to sharing her own stories and pain.
Foster Huntington
He built and now lives in the most amazing treehouse you will ever see just outside Portland, Oregon. When he isn't moving among the branches, he hits the road in his van.
Wes Vanderson
Talking about vans, Wes Vanderson is a delightful account run by a couple who are currently touring around the continent in an orange, 78 VW bus.
