Jozi has a plethora of cool neighbourhoods, all with its own unique gastronomical delights to tantalise all taste buds.

From Melville to Maboneng you'll find everything from Shakshouka to Souvlaki. 

Just pop in for a meal or drink on impulse.

Sitting pretty on the corner of 3rd and 4th Avenue in Melville, here breakfast is served from 6:30am for the early risers through to 4pm.

Perfect for early birds and late risers alike. 

Try the  Red Shakshuka with Yemen Flat Bread. It is lit. 

Technically you can book, but it's easy to pop in whenever (maybe arrive earlier on Saturdays), and have the best all-day brekkie in Jozi. 

Yes, that's a promise. 

Four Seasons, Westcliff 

Have an after-work drink with a spectacular view of the greenery Jo'burg has to offer. Yes, this upper Parkview view is a must with cocktail in hand. 

Katy's Palace Bar

You can book the venue for a party or wedding, other than that it's first-come, first-served. Have a drink or stay for the night, which promises good food, music and vibes. 

The Royale

This cool Cuban eatery has been vibing in Craighall ever since it opened its doors. Visit for a week day dinner as it promises epic dishes like The Sloppy Joe empanadas.

Tashas Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton

One of the nicest Tashas in Jo'burg, it's a great stop after a day of shopping. Even take a seat at the beautiful bar with emerald seats for a beer or coffee. 

TIP: Flamingo Room at Tashas is an exclusive offering at its Nelson Mandela Square branch. It's best to book, but try your lunch when in the area and indulge in their define decor and delicious cuisine. 

Keyes Art Mile

Pop into this strip in Rosebank offering a collection of art galleries, restaurants and shops.

Similarly, this area offers a nice mix restaurants, curated stores and offices in downtown Johannesburg. 

Soul Souvlaki

Grab a quick bite of this street food-style diner in the Maboneng Precinct. Think artisan-made pita bread, delicious meats and fresh Greek-inspired ingredients. YUM!
