Operating from shore to tank, the Airbus H145 helicopter journeys from the coastline of South Africa's third-largest city, Durban, to serve the the oil and gas industry’s air transportation needs.

The H145 is Archer Aviation's newest addition to the fleet, having already effected 700 hours during its 18 months of operation. In the coastal environment of Durbs, where annual temperatures range from 18 to 30 °C, the twin-engine H145’s power and performance are adapted to the rigours of its hundreds of flight hours per year.

With daily operations that traverse Durban’s popular Golden Mile beaches and world-renowned surf sites, the H145’s has good one-engine inoperative performance and Helionix avionics, safety attributes that contribute to the operator’s record of successful hoists and transports.
