The Don might be visiting the Mother City sometime soon, and there's no doubt in our minds that we can expect him to say something 'unique' and maybe even 'interesting' about Cape Town's top attractions.

News24 reports that the newly minted US ambassador to Pretoria, Lana Marks, is super keen to have President Donald Trump visit South Africa, particularly Cape Town.

"I would love nothing more than President Trump to visit South Africa. I know that President Trump was personally very anxious for me to arrive here and when I became his candidate (for the ambassadorship) in November 2016 he personally told me how beautiful Cape Town was."

(It is not known whether Trump has visited Cape Town in the past, says News24.)

This morning, callers on KFM speculated about whether the current US President would be welcome in the Mother City. Of course, Capetonians are a welcoming people. But, question is, is Trump really, well... people?

Famously quoted as once saying, "It's really cold outside, they are calling it a major freeze, weeks ahead of normal. Man, we could use a big fat dose of global warming!"

We know he won't like the Cape Doctor, that South-Easter might just undo his carefully 'manscaped' mane. Though, the harsh sun might enhance his already 'bronzed' glow, the icy cold Atlantic waters could just see his face prune more than ever before.

But what will he say? The man who (STILL!) plans to build his big Mexico wall. Let's speculate...

After catching a glimpse of Table Mountain

"The wall will be bigger."

"I'm the most successful person ever to run for the presidency, by far. Nobody's ever been more successful than me. I'm the most successful person ever to run." - Donald to the ice cream man.

*gets into water*

"Ah, now that, that Atlantic needs a fat dose of global warming."

Robben Island

"I feel, like it needs more of a, wow factor. They should come check out my apartment at Trump Tower. Or come, come see Mar-a-Lago. It's beautiful. Beautiful. I only go for the best."
