Happy hours and themed cocktail nights are more than expected when you’re in a city as popular as Cape Town.
Like First Thursdays, it’s about the buzz. The pulsating energy. Getting swept up in the ebb and flow between the galleries, bars and restaurants becomes part of the appeal.
And while the CBD is the It Girl of the party scene, venturing to ‘burbs to see where the locals hangout is worth a shot too.

The recently refurbished Rose Bar of the Alphen Hotel, is such a place. With an historically-rich setting such as Constantia – Incognito, with its stylish new look, weather-proofed, glass-frames and a delicious tapas menu of small plates – would be one such place.
The Sirloin with walnut salsa verde is just the snack for after work, together with a delectable offering of bruschetta or pizzette - click here to see the menu.
Add to that they offer some delicious bubbles, including a Klein Zalze Brut for about R310 per bottle. Otherwise opt for their classic list of cocktails or freshly squeezed juices and smoothies - see the drinks price list here.
Incognito forms part of the unique Kove Collection’s stylish restaurant properties across some of Cape Town’s most desirable locations - Bilboa, The Bungalow, FireFish, Lily’s, Paranga, UMI and Zenzeros.
Sophisticated, yet casually cool at the same time, the new bar in Constantia plays host to events, including the weekend line-up sunset sessions from top Cape Town DJ’s on Fridays and Saturdays from 17:00-21:00 - on until 21 April 2019.
