We always knew that Capetonians were suuuuuuper laid-back, but now it's been confirmed that they are also relaxed when it comes to the romance department.

A recent study by Picodi, an e-commerce platform, found that the Western Cape is the least romantic province in South Africa, while the North West ranked highest for most loved-up province.

After looking closely at Google’s figures, it turns out that the most romantic South Africans live in North West, KwaZulu-Natal, and Limpopo. In these provinces, the increase in popularity of queries connected to Valentine’s Day was the highest.

North West, known for its fabulous destination Sun City, apparently is also a place where people love to spend some romantic time in the sunshine on V-Day.
