Cape Town – A dream of most cyclists is to travel the world while trying out various routes at exotic sites – taking in the scenery and tackling the challenges at each location.
It’s also a dream of most cyclists who are keen travellers and love sharing their cycling experiences, to be able to tell their adventure stories to the world while on their journey.
These dreams – for cyclists, travellers and avid video storytellers – can become a reality with TDA Global Cycling which is presenting what could possibly be the “best video internship ever”.
The cycling operators, which are responsible for Tour d'Afrique - the race from Cairo to Cape Town, is offering internships to amateur videographers who will get to travel the world while producing videos of cyclists touring parts of Europe and west Africa.

“Apply today for an immersive and all-expenses-paid internship,” says TDA Global Cycling on its website, encouraging enthusiastic videographers to participate in the 4-month assignment which starts in September 2018 in Barcelona.
The selected candidates will get to film cycling adventures in “Trans-Europa and West Africa en Vélo” says the company, adding that this is an “unprecedented chance to hone your video skills and expand your understanding of the world”.

The selected intern will get to produce a series of videos on the places that form part of the cycle trip, the people they meet along the way and the cyclists.

“You will choose each day how best to capture your shots, and to experience the environments alongside the cyclists. Choose to ride your bike one day, stopping along the way to capture candid interactions of the cyclists with local people, experiencing local culture and scenery. Choose on another day to travel ahead in our support vehicles to scout out the best vantage point to capture the cyclists riding through a beautifully framed shot,” says TDA Global Cycling.
