Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon

Considered one of the most beautiful marathons in the world with its route that takes runners through the abundant natural beauty of the Southern tip of Africa, this is certainly one of the more popular marathons in the country. In it's 50th iteration in 2019, this prestigious race is taking place on 20 April.

Comrades Marathon

From its humble origins harking back to 1921, the initial 34 runners likely never anticipated the size and popularity the event would one day enjoy. This year, the marathon is being held under the theme of ‘Sizonqoba – Together We Triumph’ signifying the unifying nature of the Comrades Marathon. The 94th Comrades Marathon will be an Up Run on Sunday, 9 June 2019.

Knysna Forest Marathon

On 29 June 2019, runners can look forward to the Momentum Knysna Forest Marathon and Half Marathon. Runners can expect an inspiring, revitalising view of the Knysna Heads and Knysna Lagoon as they run along to the end of the race.

The Big Five Marathon

Old Mutual Soweto Marathon

The 26th annual running of the Old Mutual Soweto Marathon often referred to as “The People’s Race” will once again take place this year at a date to be announced. From the FNB Stadium in Soweto, the route will see runners go by locations of great historic and cultural value including Walter Sisulu Square and Vilikazi Street.
