Cape Town - Can you guess which extreme SA attraction features among the world's fastest zip line, volcano boarding and the death road cycle?
Nope, it's not the world's highest commercial bungee jump from a bridge at Bloukrans Bridge on the Garden Route.
And no, it's not Sun City's Zip 2000, the zip line with an average speed of 120 km/h over two kilometres and reaching speeds up to 160km/h.
It's the backward bungee from the Orlando Towers in Soweto - a 50-metre-high scad diving with 'no strings attached' (scad diving is basically bungee jumping done backwards). You fall 50m backward and land in a specially designed net that breaks your fall!
Scad diving at the Orlando Towers will cost you R400 per person.
Does it sound like your cup of tea?
