Lego artist Warren Elsmore tells the story of pivotal moments in world history through models created using the famous Danish toy at the Brick History exhibition.
The exhibition is interesting in that it shows what happens when toys, history and art meet. Forget those yawn-inducing lists of kings or endless battles – this is history brought to life at a relatable, human level albeit with Lego.
Key figures featured include Mozart to Martin Luther King but the exhibition does more than focus on just pivotal characters n world history. Scientific discoveries from the Big Bang to DNA, and recent history from mobile phones to the moon landings are also given the Lego treatment by Elsemore.
