In a nation, such as Argentina, filled with great outdoor and urban adventures and activities to enjoy, it's often quite challenging to locate a single activity worth pursuing for its sheer grandiosity and majesty but that is exactly what visitors to the South American country can do with a trip to the Los Glaciares National Park.  

The Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina is one of the few glaciers in the world that is still growing. Its quite the tourist attractions. 

Located in the southern area of Los Glaciares National Park, it is referred to as the Austral Andes.

With magnificent natural beauty unlike that seen in the world, save for a few areas globally, it was in 1981 inscribed into UNESCO's list of World Heritage sites.

Perito Moreno is perhaps the most famous of all the glaciers.

As mentioned above, this living glaciers that continues to grow, draws throngs of tourists annually. As the dynamic changes occur with the glacier, it produces a cyclical phenomenon of forward and backward movement which often leads to breathtaking ice falls visible from its front face.
