We already have women-only gyms, women-only cruises, women-only island retreats, and scattered around the globe are a few women-only hostels, like Hostelle in Amsterdam - which is very popular with solo female travellers.

Now, the first-ever, women-only hotel has opened its doors, offering luxury single rooms (with double beds!), exclusively to women travellers.

Som Dona Women Only (+14) in Mallorca, Spain is open to women over the age of 14 years old. So, that kind of also means 'no children allowed'.

Close to the stunning Cala Anguila Beach, the hotel has made it its mission to make the hotel a place of comfort, safety and relaxation for women. "At this hotel, you can enjoy the best healthy cuisine made with 'zero-kilometer' products, a wellness area, a pool, free WiFi, comfortable rooms, a bar lounge and a unique atmosphere designed for women," says the hotel.
