Friday, 4 May
SEE: Go blooming mad at the Tygerberg Orchid Society Autumn Show going down at Tyger Valley Centre on the corner of Bill Bezuidenhout and Willie van Schoor, Bellville. The three-day event blossoms into action at 09h00 on Friday, 4 May and comes to a bud at 16h00 on Sunday, 6 May and will bring guests not just a colourful spectacle, but will have plants on sale too.
DO: Make your way down to the three day Ramadaan and Lifestyle Expo taking place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). The expo is in prep for the 2018 Islamic month of Ramadaan - which is a religious fasting period that kicks into gear on Tuesday, 15 May. Entry to the event is R35 and it operates between 14h00 and 21h00 on Friday, 4 May, 09h00 to 21h00 on Saturday, 5 May and 09h00 to 18h00 Sunday, 6 May.
TASTE: Get baked at Jason's Bakery for some tasty pastry treats and rejuvenating coffee to match. Visit their Green Point branch in Main Road, Green Point or their CBD branch in Bree Street, Cape Town City Centre. On average, you're likely to spend around R75 for a meal. EXPLORE: Get your sneaky fun on outdoors with the Sneaky Grounds Vol 7 outdoor festival taking place at Marksman Sports Shooting Club in Plantation Road, Ottery. The event kicks off at 17h00 on Friday, 4 May and comes to a close at 05h00 on Saturday, 5 May. Tickets can be bought online for R150, at the door for R180 and the corkage fee is R50.

Saturday, 5 May
SEE: Check out the International Female Ride Day event taking place at Harley-Davidson Cape Town in Hospital Street, Green Point. The event rolls on from 09h00 until 12h00.
DO: Run on over to the Signal Gun Fun Run / Walk event stepping into motion at Signal Gun in Hooggelegen Road, Durbanville. Entries have already closed on Saturday, 28 April, but head on over and support those who are gunning and running the race.
TASTE: Get out and picnic in support of multiple sclerosis (MS) with the MS Day Celebration Picnic taking place at Danie Uys/Jack Muller Park in Frans Conradie Drive, Boston. The event starts at 11h00 and goes on until 16h00. Entry is FREE and RSVPs are encouraged and can be sent to their facebook event page. There will also be plenty of parking and a disabled toilet on the premises.

Sunday, 6 May
SEE: Witness some lit dancing at the Awakening Dance Production taking place at The Artscape Theatre in DF Malan Street, Foreshore from 18h00 until 21h00. Tickets cost R130 and can be bought here.
DO: Liven the hills with The Sound of Music musical production at The Artscape Theatre Opera House in DF Malan Street, Foreshore. There will be two shows this Sunday at 14h00 and 18h00. Tickets cost between R100 and R500 and can be bought here.
TASTE: Enjoy some Dinner & Jazz with Jonathan Rubain at Pigalle Restaurant in Somerset Road, Green Point from 18h00. R500 gets you in to this jazzy chow fest and tickets can be bought here.
