Friday, 16 March 

SEE: The Gus Brown Band perform at Splashy Sessions, taking place from 19:00 - 23:30. There is no entrance fee but it's a good idea to book a table (call 0313032747). The event is taking place at Station 43

DO: Head on to the The Secret Gin Bar at Lupa Hillcrest and enjoy an entertaining evening of cocktails, gin-tasting and banter with a trendy crowd. It is open from 17:00 - late.  

TASTE: A premium seafood buffet at at Off The Hook Seafood Nights at Vasco's Restaurant, open from 18:30 - 22:00.

EXPLORE: The KZNSA Gallery to see Natalie Moore's solo exhibition 'SANDMAN'. It is taking place at the KZNSA Gallery and admission is free of charge.

Saturday, 17 March 

SEE: The Iscathamiya Competition, held at The Playhouse Opera Theatre from 18:00. This national competition celebrates the beloved art form of unaccompanied, traditional Zulu harmonious singing. The festival ends with a prize-giving ceremony on March 18. Tickets available for R80 at   

DO: Go on a Specialist Environmental Walk through a mangrove forest. Take a walk through an otherworldly landscape teeming with incredible lifeforms, led by an experienced Guide and Environmental Educator. Running from 08:00 to 11:00. The cost is R80 per person and R40 per child under 12.  

TASTE:  Expect more delicious food on Flavors of the East Saturday Curry Nights at Vasco's Restaurant. It is open from 18:30 - 22:00. 

EXPLORE: Bothas Hill Vegan Market from 09:00 - 14:00. Try something different and explore this market showcasing various vegan friendly products for vegans and curious people alike.

Sunday, 18 March  

SEE: AquaThe Aussie Circus Spectacular. Presented on a purpose-built water stage, this two-hour show blends traditional acrobatic cirque performances with the wet stuff. A talented cast of aerialists, illusionists, comedians and daredevils will delight and thrill you. Starts at 13:00. Get tickets here

DO: Get involved in the Nos Orchid Show from 09:00 - 15:00. Marvel at the variety of beautiful orchids. It will be held at the Parkhill Bowling Club.

TASTE: Build your own burger at Republik. Expect incredible care and precision going into the preparation of your meal.  Open for breakfast from 08:30 to 11:30 and lunch is served from 11:30 to 16:00.

EXPLORE: The Easter India Shopping Festival at Moses Mabhida Stadium. Open from 11:00 to 21:00 expect the best and latest in Indian fashions and a vast assortment of other goods.
