#AfriTravel: Must-do local spas in the World's Top 2017 spas list

Cape Town - The world luxury spa awards of 2017 results are in and an array of establishments across the African continent have made the list.  

And if you've been searching for the ultimate 'spa wanderlust list' - look no further.  

We're especially delighted that it includes a few South African spa's too - which makes a pampering break even more attainable.

World Class Service

The world luxury spa awards, which were officially announced in July during a ceremony held at JW Marriott hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam gives recognition to service excellence within the spa industry - within the 'niche luxury market' and provide a high quality of service.

Four South African spa's made the overall global list of winners - as they went against the cream of the crop in the spa industry. Regionally 12 spa's located across Africa made the list for the continental awards. 

So if you're thinking of spoiling yourself with a relaxing get-away filled with spa spoils this is the list you should be checking out. 

South Africa Spa Winners:

The top four spa's that made it on the list of global award winners are:

1. AM Spa 

For the ultimate 'bush' spa expereince head over to AM Lodge.

2. Indigo Fields Spa

Located in KwaZulu-Natal midlands - this spa resort promises to be a wonderful experience.

3. Gatsby Spa

Located in Sun City at Gary Players Country Club and Golf course - it provides for the best balance allowing one to have a wild amount of fun, with the option of a luxurious spa setting and facilities.

4. Langaro Lifestyle Centre

The spa is tailored to providing an array of services; fashion, beauty treatment and relaxation. They promise a premium customer service and allows one to unwind and escape the stresses of life.

Africa is making strides within the tourism market and this shows from the number of luxurious spa's that made it as continent winners of the world luxury spa and restaurant awards. There are a total of 12 spa's across Africa that made it as winners.
