Want to have the ultimate, remote island experience where you feel like you are the king or queen of the island?

Then apply as a couple or with a friend to become the caretakers on an ecological dream island called Great Blasket Island in Ireland.

The job? You will be running the self-catering cottages accommodation available on the island for visitors as well as the coffee shop.

Suited to a couple or two friends, the initial stay will be from April to October 2020. This will include accommodation and food and wages will be discussed on application.

But, applications are apparently pouring in according to CNN. So better hop to it!

According to CBS, the island is known for its exotic wildlife, like spot whales and even puffins! But unfortunately, it has no running water, electricity or wi-fi.

Though, the 4,5 square kilometers of stunning emerald isle might sway you to go and live the simple life.
