A quick trip to Mauritius to drive an electric car around the island saw Sean Parker captivated by what the island has to offer. Here are five photographs that'll make you fall in love with the island.

Flying over the country is amazing as my eyes are filled with beautiful hues from the green landscape, tall mountains, and blue ocean. It's truly incredible, so try and secure a window seat during online check-in.

Our 'home' for the next few days would be the Tamassa resort in Bel Ombre, check out the beach below.

I also visited the central market in Port Louis, and immediately my nose was filled with beautiful aromas of spices, cake and amazing food.

Along the way we stopped for (non-alcoholic) drinks at the beautiful Salt of Palmar hotel, its walls are adorned with beautiful art and the view from the upper deck is, well, beyond anyone's imagination.

The Afriasia Mauritius Open was taking place over the weekend while I was there and my viewpoint was the stunning 18th hole. Fun fact, Jaguar would give an I-Pace to the golfer who shot an albatross on the 18th (a score of three-under-par on a single hole), it's quite a hard task and none of the golfers managed to win the electric car.
