Once home to France's most infamous young royal couple, Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI of France, the Palace of Versailles is about a 20km drive from the very heart of Paris.
Annually it plays host to thousands of tourists who venture out here to explore Versailles' beautifully manicured gardens and the ostentatiously decorated palace itself.
Now the palace will, once more, be the venue of an epic party.
Controversy always surrounded Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI as they held lavish parties and spent 'all of France's money' on indulgences and satisfying their own hedonistic pleasures.

The palace will now be the venue of an electronic music festival, Versailles Electro.

Hosted by some of the coolest DJs: Breakbot x Irfane, Busy P, Myd, and So Me, Matador reports that the party will take place on the terraces at the foot of the famous Hall of Mirrors, overlooking the French gardens.
And in these epic gardens...
Must have one hell of a booking fee...
Luckily, tickets start at as little as 22 euro (R350), which means it's pretty accessible. However, Vulture notes that VIP packages are quite pricey, with inclusions like unlimited bubbly (Marie Antoinette would approve).
