Over several years, Buckingham Palace has undergone renovations. And finally, the Royals are giving us a little glimpse of the changes. On Friday, the Royals shared a before and after pic on Twitter, showing the newly de-cluttered East Wing.
Apparently, thousands of items from the Royal Collection are being removed to make room for crucial renovations to take place.
Travel and Leisure notes that 200 paintings, 40 chandeliers, 100 mirrors, and 30 clocks were among the historical items moves. Now, the reservicing of electricity can begin. The items will apparently be housed in museums around the United Kingdom - and will, therefore, be accessible to the public for viewing.
