Can't handle any more social media posts about the coronavirus? Well, the museums of the world are here to fill your feed with their most peaceful art exhibits - the perfect remedy when self-isolation is getting a bit much.

The hashtag #MuseumMomentOfZen was started by the iconic Museum of the City of New York, posting daily pics of their favourite artwork while they are closed down - for the sake of their fans' sanity as well as probably their own.
The city went into complete lockdown over the spread of Covid-19, and elsewhere in the world museums are probably struggling with empty halls.
Iziko Museums in South Africa hasn't joined in on the fun yet, but they have also closed the following museums for 21 days from Wednesday:
- Bertram House
- Bo-Kaap Museum
- Koopmans de Wet House
- Old Town House Museum
- Rust en Vreugd House Museum
- Slave Lodge
- South African National Gallery
- South African Museum and Planetarium
