Cape Town - It's no secret South Africa is any real adventurer's dream come true, but sometimes you need to break away and see a different country's adventure hotspots in order to appreciate your own.

1. Cliff Diving off the Amalfi Coast

What similarities does a fine Italian pasta dish share with the Amalfi Coast? It requires just a few simple ingredients to create something truly exquisite and the combination of pretty towns, coastal mountains and sparkling seas makes this stretch of shoreline one of the finest in the world. So track down the highest peak and take the plunge into those warm Italian waters!

2. Rock Climbing in the Grand Canyon

Undeniably iconic and without a doubt of many a Bucket List, the Grand Canyon is one of the wonders of the world which simply has to be seen to be believed. Those who want to admire its beauty whilst challenging themselves physically can have a go at one of the classic rock climbing routes; it’s a view well worth working for!

3. Sky Diving at Mission Beach
Skydiving is a heart racing adventure which leaves you feeling high in the clouds long after your feet are firmly back on earth. Mission Beach in Queensland offers the ultimate drop zone with its stretch of stunning shoreline flanked by the Great Barrier Reef on one side and lush rainforests on the other. 



4. Surfing in Hawaii
Salty haired surfers are a common site on Hawaii’s beaches and it isn’t hard to see why when the giant waves of the Pacific come crashing onto the shoreline. With some of the best surfing and beaches in the world it’s not hard to see why hitting the Hawaii waves is on many and adventurer’s Bucket List. 



5. Zip Lining in Costa Rica
Costa Rica is a nature lover’s paradise and to truly feel at one with the natural world, young travellers can see the rainforest canopy as their feathered and furry friends do with an adrenalin boosting zip lining tour. Hold on tight and let gravity do the hard work as you appreciate the ecology and botany of one of the world’s most naturally beautiful countries.  


6. White Water Rafting in Queenstown
Described as rugged, wild and simply breathtaking, it’s not hard to see why Queenstown is time and again named the ‘adventure capital of the world’. The fast flowing Shotover and Kawarau Rivers provide exhilarating white water rafting experiences for rafters of all abilities against the backdrop of steep rock cliffs, plunging valleys and other dramatic scenery of this real-life Middle Earth.


7. Diving in Belize
When it comes to underwater adventures there is nowhere quite like Belize. Nestled between Mexico and Guatemala, this Central American gem is a diver’s paradise and its rich waters are home to various species of sharks, stingrays, turtles and barracudas. Travellers visiting in springtime might be lucky enough to encounter those infamous friendly underwater giants; whale sharks.

8. Climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge
Sydney is one of the world’s best looking city’s and where better to appreciate it in all its glory than from the dizzying heights of the Sydney Harbour Bridge as the Opera House and glitz and glamour of the harbour shimmer beneath. Surely a trip up the Sydney Harbour Bridge is on all our Bucket Lists?



9. Mountain biking in the Norway Fjords
With its snow-capped peaks and pristine lakes, the Geirangerfjord in Norway is one of Europe’s most beautiful and unique landscapes. There are plenty of ways to explore but one of the best is on mountain bike where guests can appreciate the changing scenery whilst breathing in the fresh Scandinavian air.

10. Hiking Machu Picchu 
No matter how many photos you see, nothing will quite prepare you for seeing it with your own eyes -Machu Picchu is one of the world’s most iconic ancient wonders and if ever there was a view worth working for this is it. So grab your hiking boots and pack your thermals as you embark on the hike of a lifetime to this mystical mountain top village.
