Yoshi the turtle is just killing it at travelling.
Once a favourite 20-year resident of Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town, the superstar was released back into the wild in 2017.

Today she has set a migration record - according to her tracker she has navigated 35 400km from Cape Town, up to Angola, back down again and is now on her way to Australia - where she might be from originally.
"It is, of course, impossible to predict whether she will head towards the coastline or continue on her journey and possibly go to Queensland where there is a smaller nesting population of loggerheads," says the aquarium in a statement.
"Or, in true Yoshi style, she might just end up being the first recorded loggerhead sea turtle to cross three oceans as she continues her world travels."
Let's hope her tracker keeps going so we can find out! In the meantime, there are many more turtles being cared for at the aquarium that will eventually take the same trip into the wide ocean.
Maybe go see them before they go.
