Cape Town - Golfers at Zimbali golf course, on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast, were in for a massive surprise when a huge python casually slithered its way around the golf course.
Nick Evans, who shared the video on the KwaZulu-Natal Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Facebook page, identified the gigantic snake as an African Rock Python and said it looks to be about 3.5m long.
As large and terrifying as the snake may seem, it appears to move across the golf course in a calm and relaxed manner.
After watching the slimy creature make an exit from the grass, a voice in the background is heard saying: "I think you can touch the back - it will be fine".
This prompted an onlooker to take a chance at touching the snake, which luckily did not harm him!
Our advice to travellers is not to take this risk.
