We're all taking pleasure in seeing images and videos of snowfall, if not trying to get to a destination to frolic in the flurries, and make snowmen and snow-angels.
Turns out that humans aren't the only creatures excited to see the snow, as lions and giraffes decided to come out to play at Aquila Game Reserve in Western Cape - only a mere two hours away from Cape Town.

"It was a spectacularly cold morning on 2 July 2018 as snowflakes descended on the 10 000 hectare Big 5 conservancy for the first time in 10 years," says the Game Reserve, adding that the "rare occasion" was enjoyed by all guests.
Among the guests who ran out to experience the snow was local celebrity chef, Siba Mtongana, known for her Cooking Channel show called Siba's Table.
While this celebrity and her family delighted in their first snow experience, it was the wildlife that came out to play against the thick white blankets of snow that stole the spotlight at Aquila Private Game Reserve.
