The facility includes three houses, namely Mockford Residence, Mockford Cottage and Dr Guesthouse which can accommodate eight, four and six guests, respectively.

The new camp also has a reception and swimming pool. SANParks also plans to open a museum on the premises, which they hope to have operational next year.

The camp boasts an abundance of large trees due to its proximity to Luvuvhu and Limpopo Rivers, which will offer great birding opportunities to visitors.
