But what does untouched really mean? Is it undiscovered?
Relatively, yes, as tourists haven't necessarily found it yet, neither has Instagram. These beaches are visited, but not by tour bus.
And it has remained pristine for this very reason.

Off-the-beaten-path, paradise awaits.
Picture zero beach chairs, or waiters offering drinks with tiny umbrellas or even guys walking around selling ice creams from cooler bags. Just quiet, crashing waves and stunning views.
Here are a few of the top ones:
Vestrahorn Beach, Iceland
The beach has black sand and can be found on the Stokksnes peninsula in Southeast Iceland.
The remote beach is next to the popular Vestrahorn Mountain, which has become a bit of a paradise for photographers as this mountain is now one of the world's most snapped peaks.
Agiofarago Beach, Crete
The pristine and untouched beach that is Agiofarago Beach, is nestled among the cliffs south of Heraklion in Crete.
Wineglass Bay, Tasmania in Australia
Freycinet National Park plays host to this beauty. Trails lead up to a lookout for views over the Bay, shaped like a wineglass.

Cannon Beach, Oregon in the US
The beach is already perfect by itself, but an added bonus is the possibility of spotting puffins atop Haystack Rock.
