  • Spur Iron kids - 02 April

More than 1 000 young athletes between the ages of 6 and 13 will take part in the world’s biggest aquathlon taking place at Hobie Beach on April 2. This Spur initiative in its fourth year is commitment to promoting an active, healthy lifestyle for  children from all walks of life and every child participating, will receive a Spur Ironkids swim cap, T-shirt, towel and a Pritt goodie bag.

The winners also receive a medal of accomplishment, a certificate of completion and photograph after the race.

  • King’s Beach Nippers

The King’s Beach Lifesaving Club runs its Nippers programme for children aged between three and 14 years old , giving training in areas such as beach safety and sea sense as well as fitness and skills development.

The programme runs every Sunday from 11am until 1pm at the King’s Beach Lifesaving Club until April 2017. There are three free trial sessions and  it costs R650 per child for the year.

  • DHL Stormers vs Toyota Cheetah

The Toyota Cheetah team will go head to head, taking on the DHL Stormers on Saturday, 01 April at 13:05 at the Newlands in Cape Town. Tickets can be collected from the WP Rugby Box Office from 09:00 on match day.

The Mother city boys takes on the friendly’s city football club, Chippa United on the Absa Premium league match. This game will take place at Athlone Stadium, with the kickoff at 19:30.
