Cape Town - If you're looking for the sweetest Easter treat in Cape Town, you're in luck... A brand-spanking new LINDT Chocolate Boutique & Studio Concept Store has opened its doors at the V&A Waterfront’s Silo District, offering LINDT bunny-making classes to young and old.
The Master Chocolatier’s new home houses both the classic LINDT Chocolate Boutique, as well as a world first LINDT Chocolate Studio concept, which offers customers a fully immersive chocolate experience.
*Think about this for a second... "fully immersive chocolate experience"...*
Nope, it doesn't mean to be covered in chocolate completely, unfortunately.... but you might get into the good stuff up to your elbows!
Traveller24 recently had an exclusive sneak peek into the chocolate making class, working with Dimo Simatos, LINDT South Africa’s own Master Chocolatier, to create their very own personalised LINDT GOLD BUNNY.

How to make your own
To celebrate the Easter season, LINDT is offering a series of walk-in GOLD BUNNY classes in which visitors will be able to create and decorate their own GOLD BUNNY treats under the guidance of the LINDT Master Chocolatiers.
Walk-in classes cost R150 and are available on a first come, first-serve basis. The 30-minute classes run until Sunday, 16 April from 10:00 to 17:00.
After Easter, aspiring chocolate connoisseurs in Cape Town will also be able to participate in a variety of exciting classes under the guidance of the LINDT Master Chocolatiers, where they will gain a greater understanding of the chocolate making process, and learn to make their own confectionary treats like pralines, cakes or special desserts to take home.
If you're taking part in a chocolate class, you also earn a 10% discount on their purchases from the LINDT Chocolate Boutique & Studio.
The LINDT Chocolate Boutique & Studio, right next to workshop, is a chocolate lover’s dream. The boutique and studio also offer visitors the chance to personalise their very own LINDT slabs.
Another exclusive Silo offering is the new LINDT Rhino, which is only available in South Africa. Lindt & Sprüngli South Africa and Rhino Africa partner to donate R5 each to the Wildlife Act for every Rhino sold.
