The Friendly City is too friendly this weekend with great events and activities. 

Thandolwethu Mtshatsha and ArtEC Gallery cordially invite you in this exhibition opening ‘’Iingcinga Nenjongo’’. An exhibition that is designed to actively promote our thoughts about the social issues of crime, justice, poverty and community-building etc through our art and the vision to find respect, love, peace and beauty among us and others in our communities, proposing concrete solutions to change our society in a positive way.

Visit The Re-Seconds Market this Sunday for all local crafts and items that have been recycled and ready to find their new homes at the Walmer Town Hall from 10:00 until 15:00.

Friday, 16 February

SEE:  The Horses for Causes Charity Race Day at Kenilworth Racecourse is in support of 14 charities. Have a good time and do some good too.

DO:  Get out of the office and taste The Garden Restro Bar offerings.

TASTE: Pop in at Sards Market in the Park and enjoy the food trucks, find some homemade, homegrown goods and other gift items and let the kids and dogs go wild.

EXPLORE: Easy on the eyes on the outside, spend a thoughtful afternoon browsing the Public Library collection inside.

Saturday, 17 February

SEE: Art on Target's latest installation of learning how to work with oils and be introduced to some fascinating techniques. In this course you will learn about paint surfaces, colour mixing, brush work, glazes, construct, composition and painting exercises.
